Kanishka has been leading an architectural firm since his B.Arch in 2001. His office has successfully completed numerous architectural, interior design and exhibition design works. Kanishka has also engaged extensively for over a decade with teaching and learning modules for various colleges of design and architecture around Delhi-NCR. He has presented papers at Society for Architectural Historians, Montreal, the Avani School of Design, Kerala and CAMEA Adelaide Congress, Adelaide besides being published in journals like the Social Scientist, the Book Review, the conference book of SS Khanna Girls Degree College, Allahabad University and being featured in discussions on urban affairs in the Swaraj news portal.
