Workshops with Under-Privileged Children

An interface between students of various disciplines and children from slums within the NCR. Together, the varied group will design to help make living conditions better within the slum settlements through a participatory process.

PROGRAM: AAO KUCH KAREN

Workshop series with Municipal Schools

This project is to get young minds to observe their immediate surrounding within their school or neighbourhood. The project aims to serve as a platform for free expression with an emphasis on design awareness, knowledge of the crafts and skill development.

The Wandering School

Children have their own ways of perceiving the city in which they live. The idea is to enhance students’ abilities to observe, interpret and express their perceptions of space and their inhabitation of it.

Engaging with Communities

Migrants from the rural environs inhabit the unused pockets of space in the city. This project is an interactive workshop, in which students and professionals from design disciplines engage with the community to bring out the narrative of their life in the city, in relation to their life in their hometown.

PROGRAM: DESIGN AUR UDYAMAVRITTI

Interaction with Vocational Training

Students in vocational training institutes learn a range of skills. This series of sessions on creativity, design thinking, design innovation and social entrepreneurship would be designed to help them apply their skills through multifarious exercises giving them a taste of realities of their trade.

Urban Art Project

The city structure in its inherent nature creates varied experiences for the urban dwellers. Many a times the city is about social inequity, social exclusion and social injustice! This project investigates the city in which we live from the perceptions of the people of the city, across age, gender, class, caste and occupation.
